Autoclave Hose is used primarily for high-temperature sterilization equipment and oven processes. Usable at temperatures up to 1000°F, the product has excellent flexibility, while preventing damage to molds and vacuum bags.

R. B. Birge also provides valved, socket-and-plug hose for aerospace and composites industries. Primary applications are vacuum and pressure with a maximum temperature of 400°F.

These products fall into two basic categories:

• Corrugated: ideal for high-pressure and gas-tight applications
• Stripwound: ideal for exhaust or transfer of dry bulk materials.
